IVD introduced Blessing CEO to drugs – VeryDarkMan on why she defrauded people [VIDEO] Entertainment

IVD introduced Blessing CEO to drugs – VeryDarkMan on why she defrauded people [VIDEO]

Nigerian social media critic, VeryDarkMan has accused celebrity Lagos-based auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna better known as IVD of introducing Blessing CEO to drugs. VeryDarkMan made the allegations in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday while informing the public of his decision to help secure Blessing CEO’s release from prison. DAILY POST reports that Blessing CEO, a Nigerian self acclaimed relationship expert was earlier in the year remanded for N69.15 million property fraud trial and for allegedly scamming the public of N36 million under false stage 4 cancer claims. She was granted N10 million bail in the N36 million scam case and N20 million bail in the alleged N69.15 million property fraud trial in July 2026. Months after she was granted bail, many celebrities including actress Doris Ogala questioned why the authority allegedly refused to sign her release despite meeting bail conditions. Doris recently asked the questions on her Instagram page while reacting to the death of Blessing’s second son who reportedly had an asthma attack. Following the controversy in a now viral video, VeryDarkMan disclosed that he recently discovered that IVD introduced Blessing CEO to drugs. While accusing them of being drug addicts, VeryDarkMan who announced his commitment to helping Blessing CEO out of prison, explained that she started scamming people after selling her properties to buy drugs. “With the recent things that I have discovered about Blessing CEO, to be honest, I think I’m committed to helping her now because a lot of things that I could not understand why she was doing them started making sense to me now with what I have discovered. “I consulted a lot of my friends, they said abeg, leave her. But I recently discovered that Blessing CEO and IVD were drug addicts. They were injecting themselves with drugs, which makes a lot of sense if you look at some of her past videos. And this same IVD and his former wife Bimbo were both doing drugs. So apparently it was IVD that introduced Blessing to drugs. “They did drugs to a point where Blessing CEO started selling her properties including her cars. And when they didn’t have money to buy drugs again, she came up with the idea of scamming the public by saying that she had cancer. She started scamming a lot of people. If you contact her for an advert, she will collect your money to do drugs. So she ended up scamming a lot of people, sold properties and then came up with the cancer scam just because she needed something to inject herself and IVD. “Please don’t send her money when she’s out. She has to go to rehab for at least six months. Any money coming to her now will be used for drugs. They’ve paid all the money for her bail. I don’t know what is holding the bail but we’re doing something underground. We will try our best to make sure that she comes out as soon as possible.” Blessing CEO’s lover, IVD is yet to deny the allegation as of the time of filing this report.

World Grand Prix Darts: Luke Humphries says reaching final 'doesn't mean anything' without beating Gerwyn Price to title

Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price will meet in Sunday’s World Grand Prix final; Humphries beat Price to the 2023 title but has been runner-up in the last two years at the Mattioli Arena; watch live from 8pm on Sky Sports Main Event Luke Humphries insists reaching a record-breaking fourth consecutive World Grand Prix final will count for nothing if he doesn’t beat Gerwyn Price to the title in Leicester. Humphries made history by becoming the first player to reach the final in four consecutive years at the double-in event, defeating James Wade 5-3 to book his place in Sunday's showpiece at the Mattioli Arena.   'Cool Hand' was runner-up to Luke Littler after a 6-1 thrashing last year and suffered a shock 6-4 loss to Mike de Decker in 2024, with Humphries now hoping for a repeat of his 2023 victory over Price when the two former world champions meet again at the final. It has been one of those journeys this year that hasn't been playing sailing," Humphries told Sky Sports. "A few of the years before have felt a lot easier than it has done this year. "To make four Grand Prix finals on the trot is super special. It's history for myself and I'm proud of that but, unless I pick that trophy up, unfortunately that history doesn't mean anything. Humphries has had a string of runner-up finishes in TV finals since winning the Premier League in May 2025, including the European Championship and Grand Slam of Darts in 2025 and this year's Premier League final, but is determined to end that record. "The way I haven't been playing hasn't been the best, but the way I've bounced back and performed in that way is great," Humphries added. "I've got to do it again tomorrow because there's so many major finals I've let slip. I don't think I was far from my best. The scoring was pretty decent and the doubling in was good. I felt like that was the most controlled consisted performance I've put in for a long time. "The last time I felt like that was maybe the Premier League final against Luke [Littler]. It's been a long time since I've felt that control and not like I was going to flounder a little bit. Gezzy [Price] is playing well but if I play like that again, it's going to be a cracking game and I hope it is. I'm going to come back tomorrow [Sunday] fresh and believe I can do that again and play even better." 2020 champion Price is through to his fourth World Grand Prix final and first since losing to Humphries in 2023, with the Welshman frustrated by Nathan Aspinall during his 5-2 victory in the opening semi-final. Nathan [Aspinall] was complaining about the crowd but they were on his side," Price told Sky Sports. "I'm 3-0 up and I go back and say to Nathan 'they're on your side bud, come on. Stop performing on the board and just play darts'. "I was a little bit upset with him. As good as the crowd is for me, they were all for him. He's performing a little bit on stage and I told him I wasn't happy. I'm great friends with Nathan but sometimes you've just got to let your darts go - when you're losing you're losing." Price added: "I was frustrated 90 per cent of that game and it's not good. I think it was a bit of a poor game, it was up and down. In patches, I'm playing well. When my game is there, I'm playing some of the best stuff in the world. "I'm here to win trophies and money, but I'm into another final, third one on the bounce - happy days!" Mardle expects 'brilliant final' between two past champions Sky Sports Darts' Wayne Mardle: "He [Humphries] feels that that was somewhere near his best and that's confidence. I don't think Gezzy [Price] was at all impressive tonight. I know he won, I just feel that Luke going into that final now will obviously fancy it. "I think it's really impressive the way that he [Humphries] has actually had to play better and did play better in the two games he's had to do it - putting those bad performances behind him and not worrying about them is growth. "It's easy to look back and think that Luke's been inconsistent, but so has Gezzy, to a point. Who was the star of the opening round? It was Price. He played fantasticly but, since then, he hasn't reached those heights - it doesn't mean that he can't again. "What we both want, what we all want, is for the pair of them to come out guns blazing. Then, then we could have a brilliant final on our hands - I just hope it works out that way."

Lineker Wants Ronaldo Farewell Like Messi Sports

Lineker Wants Ronaldo Farewell Like Messi

Former England striker Gary Lineker believes Cristiano Ronaldo deserves a Ronaldo farewell worthy of his extraordinary international career, saying the Portugal captain should receive a send-off similar to Lionel Messi’s emotional finale with Argentina. The remarks are made as Portugal’s new head coach Jorge Jesus rubs shoulders with Ronaldo in his UEFA Nations League campaign. Ronaldo recently gave a lengthy statement to explain his version of events concerning talks with the manager. Ronaldo said that they had agreed to play 30 minutes v Norway. Jesus wanted him to take part in the match against Wales on September 24, but stay out of the games against Norway and Denmark, before coming back in the game against Norway on October 4, he said.   Ronaldo also maintained that he had wanted to go with the team to the games he wasn’t expected to take part in, but the coach thought he should stay away from the team. The experienced striker added that he had to complete his duty as a captain and be a role model for his teammates. Lineker told the Leaders Week sports industry conference at Stamford Bridge it was a pity that Ronaldo had played such an important part in Portugal and world football. Lineker cited Messi’s Argentina retirement as “the best way to end a star’s career,” and he believes Ronaldo deserves to be given a comparable send-off from his international career. Ronaldo and Messi have been the stars of football conversation for the last few decades and have won between themselves, 13 Ballon d’Or trophies. Messi has won the prestigious prize 8 times while Ronaldo has done so 5 times. But as Ronaldo’s international career has now reached its twilight years, Lineker thinks the emphasis should be on his exceptional talents and not on the feuds over his last few games for the national team.

2027: Tinubu will win again if Atiku, Obi remain divided — Donald Duke Politics

2027: Tinubu will win again if Atiku, Obi remain divided — Donald Duke

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Donald Duke, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will win re-election in 2027 if leading opposition candidates fail to unite. Duke said the split opposition vote between Atiku Abubakar of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), could repeat the outcome of the 2023 presidential election and give Tinubu an advantage. He spoke on Channels Television’s Morning Brief on Wednesday while discussing the chances of opposition candidates in the 2027 presidential election. Duke said the opposition would struggle to defeat the ruling party if major contenders continued to pursue separate presidential bids. “We don’t understand what we’re doing. If in the United States, which is the system we’ve largely just copied verbatim from, they have two major parties. If you fragmented the Democrats, for instance, into two or three other parties, the Republicans will remain in office forever. That’s what we’re doing,” he said. According to Duke, divisions among major opposition figures in 2023 spread votes among different candidates. “In 2023, we fragmented, and all the major opposition came from PDP. You had Vice President Atiku from the PDP. You had Peter, Labour at the time, and you had Kwankwaso. They fragmented,” he said. The former Cross River State governor attributed the difficulty of forging a common opposition platform partly to what he described as “large egos” among the leading contenders. He said the opposition figures appeared confident about their chances in 2027 but warned that they could be disappointed if they failed to work together. These guys, the big ones you’re talking about, they’re preparing for inauguration. They think they’re going to win. I have news for them. They’re not going anywhere,” Duke said. He added that he did not see any of the leading opposition candidates emerging victorious if the opposition remained divided. “If I look at a crystal ball, what I see in that crystal ball is not them. I see another horror coming up,” he said. Asked specifically whether his prediction meant Tinubu would win the 2027 presidential election, Duke replied, “Absolutely.”

Man City glory, trophies cannot be taken away from players — Kyle Walker Sports

Man City glory, trophies cannot be taken away from players — Kyle Walker

By ALAMIN Former Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has insisted the club’s trophies and glory cannot be taken away from the players despite the club being found guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules. City have appealed against the recent judgment by an independent commission, which found the club guilty of financial breaches between 2009-10 and 2017-18. Walker, who spent eight years at City from 2017 to 2025 and won the Champions League and 12 major domestic honours with the club, said the verdict “doesn’t look great” but declined to comment extensively while the appeal is ongoing. “Obviously it doesn’t look great. I know it’s in an appeal stage so for me to start commenting on the legal action and everything like that, probably it’s not going to do myself justice or anyone involved in it,” Walker told talkSPORT. “But, at a personal level, I can say the lads, we spent many and many a great year celebrating many trophies and everything like that and that’s something that, whatever happens, they can’t take away from us because we’ve experienced them nights. “So, whatever will be, will be, and it’s just down to the appeal now and what goes from there.” The independent commission concluded that more than £830 million in owner funding was used to inflate revenues and enable the club to comply with Premier League and UEFA financial rules through a series of “sham” arrangements over a nine-year period. Manchester City have rejected the findings and maintained that the commission’s opinion contains “clear material errors of law, principle and fact”. “The club’s firm position is that, on multiple grounds, the opinion contains clear material errors, of law, principle and fact, and is unsafe,” the club said in a statement. The club is innocent of the accusations made by the Premier League and a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists in support of all of its positions relating to this case.” Walker admitted the verdict is a difficult subject for former City players, who want their achievements to be viewed as legitimate. “It’s something that we probably don’t want to talk about because we want to be looked upon as winning them trophies, winning them the right way,” he said. “It’s very difficult because we’ve worked very hard for them, and not just us, I look at the fans as well. “I look at the fans that have travelled up and down the country, travelled abroad to Istanbul when we won the treble and stuff like that, and they deserve that night as well.”

Nothing more to say after reading Ronaldo’s statement — Coach Jesus Sports

Nothing more to say after reading Ronaldo’s statement — Coach Jesus

By Adegboyega Adeleye Portugal coach Jorge Jesus has responded to Cristiano Ronaldo’s lengthy statement on their recent dispute, saying he has “nothing more to say” after reading the forward’s account. Jesus was approached by journalists on Wednesday morning as he left his home for the Portuguese Football Federation headquarters, where he confirmed that he had now read Ronaldo’s statement but has chosen not to engage further, insisting that his focus is on his work with the Portuguese national team. I read the statement and now, like I do every day, I’m going to the Federation headquarters to work, to think about the Portuguese national team,” Jesus said, according to a post shared by football journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X, on Wednesday. “I have nothing more to say,” he added. His response comes a day after Ronaldo publicly gave his detailed version of the events that led to his departure from the Portugal camp during the recent international window. The Al Nassr captain accused Jesus of a breach of trust and failing to keep his word twice—first by failing to bring him on against Norway after asking him to warm up, and later by not delivering agreed talking points at a press conference. Ronaldo’s statement came amid growing uncertainty over his international future following the fallout with Jesus. Jesus had initially maintained that there was no lasting rift between them and that Ronaldo remained eligible for future selection.

Arteta targets more Arsenal glory after signing new deal until 2030 Sports

Arteta targets more Arsenal glory after signing new deal until 2030

Mikel Arteta vowed "this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together" after signing a new contract with Premier League champions Arsenal until 2030. The Spaniard's deal had been due to expire at the end of the 2026/27 season but if he sees out his new contract he will have been at the Emirates for more than a decade. The club said in a statement on Wednesday that the new agreement, which was widely expected, "reflects our shared belief that the progress we've made and last season's success is the beginning of a special period in our history". Arteta has reportedly been given a substantial pay rise after leading Arsenal to their first Premier League title for 22 years following three successive runners-up finishes. "It's a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal," said the 44-year-old. "This club is unique, its character and the way it makes you feel, and I have a great sense of privilege that our journey together will continue. "We have already built a special bond and created memories that will last a lifetime, and what is so exciting is that this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together." Arteta, who replaced Unai Emery in December 2019, is now the longest-serving manager in the Premier League following Pep Guardiola's departure from Manchester City. The former Arsenal captain came under significant pressure early in his managerial reign at the Emirates but has overseen the club's return to the top of English football. Arteta also led the Gunners to their first Champions League final in two decades last season but they lost to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties. He has been in charge for 361 matches in all competitions, with his win percentage of just over 62 percent the best of any full-time manager in the club's history. Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League, three points behind leaders City after a surprise 3-0 defeat to Brighton before the international break. Club co-chairs Stan and Josh Kroenke said: "It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited for what lies ahead in this special relationship. "Last season was an incredible moment in Arsenal's history, a moment in which we created memories that will last a lifetime. We're determined to create many more in the years ahead. "We share a special bond with Mikel. We are so proud of everything we have achieved since he returned to the club in 2019." Arsenal return to Premier League action with a home match against Leeds on Saturday.
